Meet-up and admission
Please arrive at the front entrance 10 minutes before the tour starts. Once there at the appointed time, show Ikken’s staff partner your booking verification email for an admission ticket.
Kind Reminders
(1) Please visit the public restroom in Sky Lantern Hall before the tour starts. Restrooms in the antique manor aren’t open to the public.
(2) In the event of a bad weather (heavy rains, for instance, that make traveling difficult), or natural disasters, or announcements from the local administration that work and classes would be suspended for various reasons, the estate would be closed as well to ensure public safety. No individual notification will be issued.

Before the Tour
Please visit the public restroom in Sky Lantern Hall before the tour starts.
1. These historic relics are well-preserved thanks to your thoughtful consideration. Please follow the rules prescribed below, in preservation of the estate’s cultural legacies and tour program quality. Our staff members are responsible to admonish, intervene, impose a fine, or banish the visitor should any questionable behavior is found:
Please remove your shoes and put on a pair of socks when entering the premises.
For your safety, the estate is only open to visitors 12 years of age and above.
No “barrier-free” features are installed, in consideration of the integrity of the historic site. We apologize for any inconvenience.
A visitation management mechanism is in place to guide you along the route. Please stay in your designated group.
No pets (with the exception of guide dogs on active duty) are allowed in the estate, in preservation of the estate’s premise integrity.
No videotaping, tripods, or selfie sticks are allowed. Please notify our managing staff before the tour if videotaping is necessary for specific business or other purposes.
No food from the outside, or items that are deemed unsafe by the managing staff, is/are allowed in the estate. Smoking (including vaping) is strictly prohibited.
Do not trample on any landscaped features or lawn. Estate management reserves the right to demand reparation should property damages are found.
To ensure tour quality, please stay respectfully quiet throughout the tour. Turn your cell phone on silent mode. No loud noises are allowed so as to ensure a quality tour experience for all.
2. To protect the rights of all tourists, visitors who arrive after the start of their booked circuit are not allowed to join the tour.
3. The edifices, buildings, ponds, wooded areas, gardens and landscaped features are part of the historic site. Do not trespass or vandalize the vegetated landscape or harvest the fruit grown on any trees. Please work to protect the integrity of the site (the estate has been proclaimed as a municipal historic site by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of New Taipei City. You would be held liable for damages per the provision of Article 103 under Cultural Heritage Preservation Act).
4. The managing staff of the estate reserves the right to alter, modify or terminate the tour in the event of any unforeseeable circumstances.

You are solely responsible for any notification delivery failure. Delivery failure is no excuse for payment refusal, or a demand for refund.
